OHSU – Knight Cancer Research Building

OHSU's contractor selected McDonald as earthwork trade partner for the Knight Cancer Research Building through a competitive RFP, onto a target-value Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) team colocated with the owner, designers, and City representatives. McDonald proposed a soil investigation that reclassified enough contaminated material to return approximately $2M to OHSU before excavation began. This project consisted of all the excavation, utilities, grading, and soil remediation necessary for the construction of the building, Bond Ave, and Meade Street.
