City of Camas STEP

This project was a large scale utility job consisting of 7000 + Feet of 24” Sewer Line, through a variety of areas including, going under Hwy 14, Under the BNSF Rail Tracks, Over the Washougal River, Through Wetlands, and Sensitive Native American Historical Areas, as well as through busy City Streets. This project is a testament to McDonald Excavating’s ability to complete Large Scale Utility Work in a variety of environments, on time and on budget. As part of an effort to increase capacity for the City of Camas’ growing population McDonald Excavating was hired to install a new 24” Sanitary Sewer Force Main from the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant all the way into downtown. The job consisted of over 7000 Feet of 24” Pipe that went under Hwy 14, Under the BNSF Railway, Over the Washougal River, West on 3rd into downtown Camas. Crews installing pipe on 3rd, a very busy thoroughfare between Camas and Washougal.
